It's a Robert Frost-y day

A rare snowfall is blanketing my little part of the woods today. Soft, silent, beautiful.

All the local television stations are in 24/7 weather report mode, letting us all know that it's snowing outside.

The cats are unsure. Muffin ventured out, but Lucy remained firmly attached to the front door's Welcome mat!

I am toasty, warmly wrapped in my old-faithful soft gray cashmere cardigan, fireplace blazing, extra wood at the ready. They tell us the snow will continue falling much of the day, so it sounds like it would be a great day to finish reading Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth!
