The day dawned cool and clear, just the right weather for a stealthy trip into my computor, I suppose. It seems that a Trojan Horse containing a multitude of viruses has entered the bowels of my little black technology box and is after my credit card numbers and my bank account number, among other things. I called The Geek Squad to my rescue at 901am EST this morning and got off the fone at 809pm this evening. I never realized how much stuff was loaded on this thing and how much information is out there - yowza!
Things I have learned today -- have a active anti-virus software running at all times, and call the credit card company, bank and all the stock companies to verify that they have seen no inordinant activity and have saved all my dwindling assets.
I'm exhausted. Who knew that interacting with Geeks all day would be so invigorating? The were all wonderfully intelligent people who seem to have solved my dilemma. I have five days to fool around in a virus free atmosphere before they let me go. Nice to know they are just a call away!
