Gatlinburg in the fall
I have been home from Norway for about a week, have finally unpacked the suitcase and done the laundry, but have yet to hang up all the clothes. I'm just enjoying the downtime and the return to a regular, boring, hum-drum routine. It should be a leisurely next six months. On tap are prep for the big neighborhood yard sale in mid-October, a two week visit from Mom, a week in Gatlinburg to view fall colors with Cindy, deciding what to do for Thanksgiving and prep for the family to come for Christmas. I love the normality of it all - even today's chores of scrubbing out the garbage can (yuck!), cleaning out the bird houses to get ready for the winter, and cleaning/refilling the bird bath fountain were enjoyable!
